Utada "In the Flesh 2010" Tour

Photobucket

On Monday, February 8th, 2010, Utada's tour finally made its way to Manhatten, her hometown. Rae and I got there 5 hours early, and the line was already down Irving Place and half way down 16th street. The people at the front of the line got there at 2am. If we had been smart we would've brought blankets like they had. But that's ok, we found a log (Well, Banana found it). (LOOOOOOOG!!!!! <-- I hope that gets on the dvd)

After 5 hours of standing, the doors finally opened at 7pm, and by the time we all rolled in it was 7:30. The funniest thing about the night (besides the log) had to be the DJ that opened for Utada at 8pm. We must have been the worst crowd. He got us to clap for about 5 seconds, after which we decided we were no longer amused.

Utada was amazing. She was funny, sweet, and her vocals were fantastic. All the music sounded great. I had never really been much of a huge fan for her english music, but it sounded awesome live.

(I don't have many pictures from the show like I did for AKB48. The staff for the Fillmore were being camera nazis. D8)
